From Campus to Community: ASCC's New Rotaract Club

American Samoa is now home to a new Rotaract club at American Samoa Community College! On January 30th, members of the Rotaract Club of Pago Pago and the Rotary Club of Pago Pago joined forces at ASCC's Club Rally Day to recruit members for the new club.

Recruitment was a smashing success! Nearly 70 college students signed up for the new club with over two dozen moving forward to the coming induction on March 7th 12:30pm at the ASCC Multi-Purpose Center.

The club had it's first meeting to choose a board of directors a few days later.

Vanessa Covarrubias is the Rotary Club of ASCC's first president. Athena Polu, daughter of Rotary Club of Pago Pago Past-President Agnes Polu, will the club's first Vice President.
